Sharon Ravenscroft

Sharon D. Ravenscroft is a Shareholder of The Cavanagh Law Firm, P.A. which has offices in Phoenix and Sun City, Arizona.

She was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her B.A., cum laude, in 1984 from Wellesley College and her J.D. in 1987 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where she was a staff writer on the international law journal.

Sharon’s practice involves:

   ■  The preparation of wills, trusts, and  related estate planning documents, including premarital agreements
   ■  Probate, estate administration and trust administration
   ■  Business law related to estate planning
   ■  Simplifying the challenges related to family asset and estate legal issues is her focus for her clients

She has served as a member of the faculty of the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business and has taught at the PORA Lifelong Learning Center.

Sharon has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association.

She has been a member of a variety of civic organizations, including BNI Grand Networkers, Soroptimist International, Rotary, Lions Club, Executive Women’s International, Northwest Women’s Network, and is a supporter of the Desert Botanical Gardens, Heard Museum, Phoenix Zoo and Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

Scott Rowan

M. Scott Rowan received his BA from BYU and his JD from UCLA.

Scott is an Associate with the Cavanagh Law Firm and works with clients in the Sun City area, metro Phoenix area and the East Valley.

Scott has worked with Sharon Ravenscroft since 2020. He has assisted clients with preparing estate planning documents and in detailing their uses during the client’s signing appointment. After the signing appointment, like Sharon, Scott is available to answer questions by phone and email and there is normally no charge unless there new documents or legal research is needed.

Scott is experienced with stream lining the process of re-titling assets during trust administration and obtaining court approval of probate petitions of various types.

Scott is married and has a toddler son. Scott is active in community organization, such as the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and working with “ihelp” and Feed My Starving Children.
